EMSTM Fall Courses Nearly Here

EMSTM students, mark your calendars!

Offerings for fall 2007 are scheduled
to be available on the Directory of Classes by
next week Tuesday, April 24th.

No Summer Courses....For Tech Management Students

If you are in the Executive MS in Technology Management program and have searched the SCE and CU websites for EMSTM summer registration information, and are getting increasingly frustrated because you can't find anything...that's because there is nothing to find. The Tech Management program does not offer courses during the summer term.

EMSTM students wishing to take possible elective courses during the summer should check the Summer Term offerings at www.ce.columbia.edu/summer … but there are very few courses offered during the summer appropriate for EMSTM candidates. Additionally, you must receive the approval of your Program department for any elective choices outside the EMSTM program. If you are able to locate courses you feel would be appropriate electives in other schools or departments of the University, you must also secure permission from those departments and follow their procedures for registration.

Early Registration Dates for Summer and Fall 2007

Mark Your Calendars!

  • Early registration for summer 2007 term: April 9 - 13
  • Early registration for fall 2007 term: April 16 - 20
Already know you're taking Intensive Elementary Latin and Linear Regression Models this summer? Told your boss you won't be working past 4pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday once September rolls around? If so, you might as well get registration out of the way and cross that item off of your "To Do" list. How? By selecting your SCE courses during Early Registration.

Early Registration lets current students get a jumpstart on the semesters ahead by registering for courses earlier than usual. Just as with regular registration, your PIN and appointment times will be provided to you via Student Services Online (SSOL), usually a week or two before the registration period begins. Most of you will be able to register for your course(s) online during this time. However, if the course you want requires permission from the professor or offering department, you'll need to wait until regular registration period to add that course to your schedule. Sorry.

We're still gathering intelligence on Regular Registration so check back with us later....
