It's Here! The Unofficial (and only) SCE Commencement 2007 "Yearbook"

Friends and family of SCE's graduating class turned out en masse to celebrate their loved one's accomplishments. Flip through the "yearbook" for a recap of the Class Day and University Commencement ceremonies.

The SCE graduating class hailed from the following graduate programs:

MS in Fundraising Management

MS in Landscape Design

MS in Strategic Communications

MS in Technology Management

For students diligently moving towards the light at the end of the tunnel in these programs and others, keep going, remember whatever your motivation for being in the program is (write it down and tape it to your bathroom mirror if you need to), keep your GPA up, and you'll get there before you know it!

And if you suspect you'll be graduating next year - because you have fulfilled satisfactorily the requirements of the School of Continuing Education and your program - make sure you know what to do (and when) in order to don the Columbia Blue cap 'n' gown. Visit the Graduating Students link within the Student Affairs website, talk with an advisor or your program director to make sure you're on track, keep your GPA up, stay informed, and never lose your sense of humor - it's what will get you through the hurdles!

Congratulations to Columbia University's Class of 2007!

Cancelled - Summer Concerts at the Sundial

We're sorry to say that we are cancelling the remaining Summer Concerts at the Sundial performances due to the extensive construction taking place on College Walk, where the shows are held. We look forward to resuming the series in summer 2008.

As many of you have undoubtedly seen, Columbia is restoring College Walk, the main thoroughfare at 116th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue. This construction will take place for the duration of the summer so that the walkway can be reopened in time for the start of the 2007-2008 academic year.
