The YOUNG DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONALS OF NEW YORK CITY (YDPNYC) is a non-profit networking organization, whose goal is “to provide career advancement and mentoring opportunities for young people committed to fundraising for the arts; education; health and social service industries in New York City.” One of its cofounders, Patrick O’Connell, is a May 2006 graduate of the Program. For more information, see: http://www.ydpnyc.org/index.php (also, “young” here means “new” to the field and not just a reference to age!).
