As a Columbia University student there is no shortage of free or inexpensive cultural activities at your disposal. Columbia's CUArts Initiative lists organizations and events offering special rates for CU students. To find out what's happening on campus or around town, visit the CUArts Initiative website: http://www.cuarts.com/ In particular, scan the "Programs and Events" and "Tickets, Discounts and Free Stuff" sections in the center of the homepage. You will likely be asked to verify your student status when signing up for an event, so make sure you have your CU ID card available.
